If there are no jobs in the newspaper, try sending a resume and cover letter to doctor's offices, hospitals or anywhere else you'd like to work in an attempt to market yourself. You can also utilize online job boards which many employers are using these days because of the affordability and convenience. It is important you learn interviewing skills and present yourself well as medical assistants must be good at working with people.
